1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a site. Some are essential to the operation of the service (basket, session), others are used to measure audience or to personalise your experience — the latter are only set with your consent, collected through our banner on your first visit.
2. Managing your consent
Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which we ask you again. You can change or withdraw it at any time — withdrawing is as simple as accepting:
Refusing non-essential cookies never prevents you from ordering: product suggestions are then based solely on best sellers, with no individual tracking. You can also delete cookies through your browser's settings.
3. The categories we use
- Strictly necessary (always on) — Essential for the site to work: cart, session, security and remembering your cookie choices. They cannot be disabled (art. 5.3 ePrivacy Directive).
- Functional — Improve your comfort: light/dark theme, display and language preferences.
- Audience measurement — Help us understand how the site is used (pages visited, journeys) through aggregated and pseudonymised statistics.
- Personalisation — Remember the products and aisles you viewed so we can suggest relevant items, for example at checkout.
4. Full cookie register
SEDEO sets no third-party advertising cookie and passes no browsing data on to advertising networks.

5. Personalised suggestions
If you accept the « Personalisation » category, the sedeo-activity cookie remembers the last products and aisles you viewed (30 days, on your device only). It allows us to offer you relevant items, for example under your basket at checkout. No profile is built server-side and this data is never cross-referenced with your identity without your consent.
